The Local Girls

One of the fun things about being involved in my craft is that I am part of an etsy street team made up of locals, here in what's called "The Triangle Area" in NC. This is a collection of some of their goodies, called Crunchy with a Silver Lining. Are you part of a group or team associated with your craft? I'd love to hear about them!

I had a little too much fun making sophisticatedly sarcastic cards out of old ads, and ended up with a lovely bunch of them, so I'm having a great sale (buy 2 get one free) and a giveaway! Just pop by my store http://VintageScraps.etsy.com/ and pick the card you like best, comment here, and I'll randomly choose a winner by May 28th.
Because nothing says "I love you" like sarcasm...

Vintage Letters from France

I recently purchased French letters circa 1941 from a fun etsy shop in Bordeux, France, called
Coucoubouh,
which ended up being a great addition to my "all things French" in my shop VintageScraps.etsy.com. Here's some of the fun you can have, all made from vintage French wine labels, a 1960's Paris fashion magazine, and the letters. C'est tres jolie!

Vintage Board Games Mixed Media Assemblages

I hit pay dirt not long ago in the form of vintage game boards. Usually hard to find with pieces intact, the boards alone are easire to come by and much less expensive. Hang on the wall as is to add fun to a gameroom or child's bedroom, or get creative with your found objects and glue!
